Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), 37-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Eagle Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Devils host Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Grand Junction Central lost 37-33 in their recent non-league bout against Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO)

Next up, the Huskies play the Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Battle Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
