The Orange County Fighting Hornets basketball team (Orange, VA), was overwhelmed 42-21 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA)
The Black Knights now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albemarle for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 25. Charlottesville will battle a Patriots team coming off a 40-18 non-league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-8.
The Fighting Hornets (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Fluvanna County was overwhelmed by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 47-21, in a non-league battle.
