Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA), 29-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Massaponax upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Brooke Point (Stafford, VA) to play the Black Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Black Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Brooke Point won 24-22 in their recent non-league bout against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Colonial Forge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 38-9 non-league loss to Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA).
