Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 28-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Trojans host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Central Cabarrus lost 38-27 in their recent non-league bout against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Spiders clash with the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
