Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC), 20-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Southwest Onslow upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Stallions travel to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Thursday, January 25. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Wallace-Rose Hill lost 34-10 in their recent non-league challenge against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. East Duplin will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record.
