New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC), 28-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, New Bern Christian Academy upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The host Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a record of 7-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the Christ Covenant Spartan (Winterville, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Gramercy Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Spartan come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 28-1 league loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC).
