Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM), 54-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mayfield upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Centennial won 41-10 in their recent non-league bout against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)

Next up, the Bulldawgs play the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Las Cruces will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
