North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC), 47-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Surry upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Greyhounds host Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. North Wilkes will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.
