Next, the Falcons confront the Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 20 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Royal will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 4-0 league loss to Bellville (Bellville, TX).

The Rattlers now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host New Waverly for a 4A Region 3 District 20 challenge on Friday, January 26.
