The Pirates now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Brunswick for a non-league battle on Friday, January 26. Topsail will battle a Trojans team coming off a 59-21 non-league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 8-5.

The Screaming Eagle (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Hoggard beat South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 59-29, in a non-league battle.
