With the win, Firebaugh upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Caruthers (Caruthers, CA) to play the Blue Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Blue Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Caruthers lost 52-27 in their recent league bout against Fowler (Fowler, CA)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Tranquillity Tigers (Tranquillity, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Avenal will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 38-37 non-league loss to Riverdale (Riverdale, CA).
