With the victory, Perquimans improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Gates County (Gatesville, NC) to play the Red Barons in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Red Barons come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Gates County lost 58-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the Martin County Knights (Williamston, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Bertie will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 79-44 non-league win over North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC).
