In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cape Fear Colts basketball squad scored a big 71-48 victory over the Gray's Creek Bears.
With the victory, Cape Fear improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Colts host Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Douglas Byrd lost 63-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC)
Next up, the Bears confront the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Gray's Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).
