The Chase Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers to 34 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rutherford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Chase will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 58-23 non-league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-4.

The Hilltoppers (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Hendersonville was outscored by Patton (Morganton, NC), 70-55, in a league contest.
