Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), 55-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Crest upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Forestview won 71-58 in their recent non-league bout against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, January 25. Kings Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Storm come into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 71-58 non-league loss to Forestview (Gastonia, NC).
