Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ), 51-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Desert Vista upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Thursday, January 25. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Tigers play the Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) in a bout, on Thursday, January 25. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
