Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dixon Rams (Dixon, CA), 63-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Pioneer upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA) to clash with the Rams in a bout on Friday, January 26. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Casa Roble won 62-55 in their recent league bout against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Dixon will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 73-62 league win over Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA).
