Virginia High School Basketball - Parry McCluer can't hold off Eastern Montgomery

The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues to 38 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Wythe for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Eastern Montgomery will battle a Maroons team coming off a 60-7 non-league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 8-1.

The Fighting Blues (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record.
