The Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) basketball felled the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 61-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Fort Chiswell thwarted Auburn (Riner, VA), 55-36, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Staunton River for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Franklin County will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 45-30 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
