North Carolina High School Basketball - Lakewood falls to Hobbton

January 23, 2024: Newton Grove, NC 28366

In Tuesday's league match, the host Hobbton Wildcats basketball team scored a good 65-55 triumph over the Lakewood Leopards.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 26. Hobbton will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 56-55 non-league win over North Duplin (Calypso, NC).

With the defeat, Lakewood moves to 0-7 on the year. The Leopards travel to Clinton (Clinton, NC) to meet the Dark Horses in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 24. The Dark Horses enter the match with a record of 6-3. Clinton won 55-27 in their recent league match against Midway (Dunn, NC)
