The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) basketball felled the host James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC), 40-30 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league test with a 1-10 record.
The Tigers now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. James Kenan will encounter a Dark Horses squad coming off a 38-26 non-league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 7-4.
