In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Zuni Thunderbirds basketball team scored a good 68-53 triumph over the Navajo Prep Eagles.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds meet the Crownpoint Eagles (Crownpoint, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 25. Zuni will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM).
