Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), saw New Hanover's basketball squad wallop West Brunswick by a tally of 59-21.

With the victory, New Hanover improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Laney won 59-56 in their recent non-league challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. West Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
