Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) and the host Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC), saw Northwood's basketball squad hold off Southeast Alamance by a count of 39-37.

With the victory, Northwood upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to play the Jets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Jordan-Matthews won 62-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Graham (Graham, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Southeast Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
