Pembroke Dragons (Corfu, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oakfield-Alabama Hornets (Oakfield, NY), 73-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pembroke upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Notre Dame (Batavia, NY) to play the Fighting Irish in a bout on Thursday, January 25. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Notre Dame won 47-46 in their recent league bout against Byron-Bergen (Bergen, NY)

Next up, the Hornets play the Elba Lancers (Elba, NY) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Oakfield-Alabama will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 38-26 league win over Byron-Bergen (Bergen, NY).
