The Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams (Raleigh, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals (Goldsboro, NC), 71-67 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Holy Rams (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Mount Zion Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Mighty Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Mount Zion Christian Academy was tipped by Word of God Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC), 64-62, in a non-league test.

The Generals now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Freedom Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Wayne Preparatory Academy will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 52-41 league loss to Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-7.
