In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Elverado Falcons basketball team scored a good 66-49 triumph over the Agape Christian Knights.

The Falcons (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cobden (Cobden, IL). The Appleknockers enter the non-league battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Cobden thwarted Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL), 53-27, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shawnee for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. Agape Christian will meet a Redskins squad coming off a 75-40 non-league loss to Galatia (Galatia, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 2-14.
