Texas High School Basketball - MacArthur can't hold off Aldine

Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), 67-60 in a league match.

With the victory, Aldine advances its record to 19-11 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Westfield (Houston, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 14 match on Saturday, January 25. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 14-12. Westfield lost 70-61 in their recent league match against Nimitz (Houston, TX)

The Generals now own a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring for a 6A Region II District 14 match on Saturday, January 25. MacArthur will face a Lions squad coming off a 77-38 league win over Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-14.
