In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting MacArthur Highlanders basketball team scored a big 72-31 win over the Altus Bulldogs.
The Highlanders (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Newcastle (Newcastle, OK). The Racers come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Newcastle smashed Bethany (Bethany, OK), 53-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Stillwater Pioneers (Stillwater, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Altus will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 1-12 record after their 59-43 non-league loss to Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK).
