The Freehold Boro Colonials basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Asbury Park Bishops to 40 in the Colonials non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Colonials now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Monmouth Regional for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28.

With the loss, Asbury Park falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Lions go into the game with a record of 11-8. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology won 67-39 in their recent non-league game against Garfield (Garfield, NJ)
