The Robertson County Black Devils basketball squad (Mt. Olivet, KY), was crushed 85-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY)

With the victory, Augusta advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) to meet the Polar Bears in a District 39 battle on Saturday, January 25. The Polar Bears enter the battle with a record of 6-12. Bracken County lost 74-66 in their recent league battle against Mason County (Maysville, KY)

The Black Devils now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nicholas County for a District 38 battle on Friday, January 24. Robertson County will meet a Bluejackets squad coming off a 70-47 non-league win over Bluegrass United (Lexington, KY). The Bluejackets record now stands at 8-6.
