The Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) basketball edged the host Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI), 48-46 in Thursday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Montabella for a Mid-State bout on Tuesday, January 28. Fulton will play a Mustangs team coming off a 62-35 league win over Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Breckenridge falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Huskies host St. Charles (St. Charles, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid-State bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-9. St. Charles lost 71-33 in their recent league bout against Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI)
