In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Liberty HomeSchool Alliance Arrows basketball team scored a big 54-32 win over the Chetopa Hornets.
The Arrows (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS). The Jets come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Altoona-Midway smashed Southern Coffey County (Leroy, KS), 91-10, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Southern Coffey County Titans (Leroy, KS) in a Three Rivers contest, on Friday, January 24. Chetopa will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 0-8 record after their 37-22 non-league loss to Liberty HomeSchool Alliance (Yates Center, KS).
