In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves basketball team scored a good 71-52 triumph over the Lower Brule Sioux.
The Braves (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Buffalos go into the A Region 6 contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Stanley County topped Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD), 51-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Sioux confront the Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Lower Brule will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 54-38 non-league loss to Webster (Webster, SD).
