In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Hazel Park Vikings basketball team scored a good 73-53 triumph over the Clawson Trojans.

The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Lutheran Northwest topped Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI), 45-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Clintondale Dragons (Clinton Township, MI) in a Macomb Area - Bronze contest, on Monday, January 27. Clawson will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 40-38 league loss to Sterling Heights (Sterling Heights, MI).
