Nebraska High School Basketball - East Butler triumphant over Meridian

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE) and the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), observed East Butler's basketball team overwhelm Meridian by a margin of 67-38.

The Tigers (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley was trounced by McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE), 74-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the High Plains Storm (Polk, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Meridian will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record.
