Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA), 61-59 in a league match.
With the victory, Harrisonburg upgrades its record to 3-9 on the year. The Blue Streaks host Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA) to face the Raptors in a Valley match on Friday, January 24. The Raptors enter the match with a record of 4-8.
The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monticello for a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. East Rockingham will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 56-55 league win over Orange County (Orange, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-7.
