Oregon High School Basketball - Powder Valley holds off Elgin

In Thursday's league contest, the host Powder Valley Badgers basketball team scored a close 49-48 triumph over the Elgin Huskies.
The Badgers (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Joseph (Joseph, OR). The Eagles go into the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 5-12 record.
In their next game, the Huskies confront the Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon contest, on Friday, January 24. Elgin will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 3-14 record after their 57-37 league loss to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR).
