Illinois High School Basketball - Rolling Meadows routs Elk Grove

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs basketball team scored a big 76-36 triumph over the Elk Grove Grenadiers.

The Mustangs (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Libertyville was trounced by Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 73-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Grenadiers confront the Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Elk Grove will attempt to better on its 3-19 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 8-14 record after their 57-36 non-league loss to Maine West (Des Plaines, IL).
