The North Central Jets basketball squad (Powers, MI), was nudged 59-56 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Florence Bobcats (Florence, WI)
With the victory, Florence advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Bobcats host Gibraltar (Fish Creek, WI) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 2-10.
The Jets now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carney-Nadeau for a Central Upper Peninsula battle on Tuesday, January 28. North Central will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 85-46 league loss to Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 5-10.
