The Franklin Knights basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Seneca Bobcats to 39 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Titusville for a District 10 Region 5 game on Friday, January 24. Franklin will confront a Rockets team coming off a 82-29 non-league loss to Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Seneca falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Oil City (Oil City, PA) to confront the Oilers in a District 10 Region 5 game on Friday, January 24. The Oilers go into the game with a record of 8-5. Oil City won 83-46 in their recent league game against Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA)
