Maryland High School Basketball - Potomac triumphant over Friendly

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) and the visiting Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), observed Potomac's basketball team overwhelm Friendly by a score of 62-39.

The Wolverines (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ballou (Washington, DC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Ballou was routed by Cardozo (Washington, DC), 80-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Friday, January 24. Friendly will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Clippers come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 54-33 league win over Crossland (Temple Hills, MD).
