Nebraska High School Basketball - Garden County victorious over Leyton

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Garden County Eagles basketball team scored a good 53-45 triumph over the Leyton Warriors.

The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Platte (Big Springs, NE). The Blue Knights go into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, South Platte topped Creek Valley (Chappell, NE), 55-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Banner County Wildcats (Harrisburg, NE) in a D2 District 11 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Leyton will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-12 record after their 72-40 non-league loss to Garden County (Oshkosh, NE).
