The North Webster Knights basketball squad (Springhill, LA), was crushed 67-31 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Haynesville Golden Tornado (Haynesville, LA)
With the victory, Haynesville advances its record to 8-0 on the year. The Golden Tornado travel to Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA) to meet the Lions in a 1A District 1 battle on Friday, January 24. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 1-15.
