The Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL) basketball edged the visiting Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL), 52-50 in Thursday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Demopolis for a 5A Area 5 bout on Friday, January 24. Jemison will play a Tigers team coming off a 49-18 non-league loss to Greene County (Eutaw, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-17.
With the loss, Montevallo falls to 14-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Shelby County (Columbiana, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-18.
