The Lexington Catholic Knights basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Tates Creek Commodores to 52 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson Central for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Lexington Catholic will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 78-66 non-league win over Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Tates Creek falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Commodores travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY) to confront the Bulldogs in a District 43 game on Thursday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 2-15.
