The Lincoln Abes (Warren, MI) basketball were winner over the host Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI), 56-48 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Abes now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hyde Park for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Lincoln will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 56-43 league loss to Simeon (Chicago, IL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Port Huron Northern falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Cass Tech (Detroit, MI) to play the Technicians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Technicians go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Cass Tech won 92-36 in their recent league bout against Mumford (Detroit, MI)
