In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls basketball team scored a good 59-45 triumph over the Menaul Panthers.
The Owls (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles go into the 2A District 2 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy was toppled by To'hajiilee (To'hajiilee, NM), 75-71, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 2A District 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Menaul will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-12 record after their 74-21 league loss to Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
