Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ), 74-66 in a league match.
With the victory, Millennium advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Lions enter the match with a record of 11-9. Destiny Christian Academy won 78-55 in their recent league match against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA)
The Vikings now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert Vista for a 6A Central match on Tuesday, January 28. Sunnyslope will face a Thunder squad coming off a 76-38 league win over Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Thunder record now stands at 11-9.
