The Montgomery Academy Eagles (Montgomery, AL) basketball toppled the visiting Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats (Montgomery, AL), 66-49 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 24-2 record. They play next when they host Thorsby for a 3A Area 5 bout on Friday, January 24. Montgomery Academy will play a Rebels team coming off a 66-63 league loss to Dallas County (Plantersville, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 12-12.
With the loss, Trinity Presbyterian falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL) to play the Knights in a 4A Area 5 bout on Monday, January 27. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
